01What we collect

Account details: your name, email, and (optionally) phone number when you sign up, or your Google profile basics if you use Google sign-in.

Practice activity: the exams and subjects you choose, tests you attempt, answers, timings, scores, favourites, and notes.

Device basics: browser type and coarse usage data that help us keep the app fast and debug problems.

We do not ask for, and you should not upload, any sensitive personal information.

02How we use it

To run AceGenie: sign you in, save your progress, and sync your test history.

To personalise: your attempts power your adaptive test series, weak-area drills, and analytics like accuracy, speed, and mistake patterns.

To improve the product: aggregated, de-identified usage helps us fix bugs and decide what to build next.

We never sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads.

03AI processing

AceGenie uses AI models to generate questions, solutions, formula sheets, and study plans. Content sent to AI providers for generation is limited to what is needed (for example, the exam, subject, and chapter) — not your identity.

04When we share

We share data only with the service providers that make AceGenie work — for example authentication (Google/Firebase), hosting, and payment processing — and only what each provider needs. They are bound to use it solely for providing their service to us.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect AceGenie and its users from fraud or abuse.

05Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active so your history and analytics stay useful to you.

You can clear data stored on your device from Settings at any time. To delete your account and its data, email us — we will complete the deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

06Security

Your data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will inform you promptly.

07Children

AceGenie is meant for students preparing for competitive exams. If you are under 18, use AceGenie with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has created an account without consent, contact us and we will remove it.

08Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
