Refund & Cancellation

AceGenie is a digital service. Pro is a one-time payment that unlocks full access for a fixed period — currently 30 days — and top-ups are one-time purchases that add extra capacity to an active Pro plan.

Access is granted to your account the moment the payment is confirmed. There is nothing to ship, no delivery address to give us, and no waiting period.

Pro does not auto-renew. No mandate, standing instruction or e-mandate is set up on your card or bank account, nothing is debited when the period ends, and there is no recurring subscription running in the background.

So there is no cancellation to make. If you do not want to continue, simply do not pay again — access lapses on its own at the end of the period you paid for.

Because Pro unlocks the full product immediately, a payment is non-refundable once the period has started. That includes:

Changing your mind after buying.

Not using the plan, or using less of it than you expected to.

Not achieving a particular score, percentile, rank, admission or job outcome. AceGenie is a preparation aid and makes no promise about results.

Disagreeing with an answer, solution or analytics figure. Report it instead — we correct verified errors, and that helps everyone.

Quota already consumed. Daily limits reset at midnight IST and weekly limits on Monday; unused limits do not carry over and are not refundable.

This does not affect any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We refund in full, without argument, in these situations:

You were charged but access was never granted to your account.

You were charged more than once for the same purchase. We refund every duplicate.

You were charged a different amount from the price shown on the Plans page at the time of purchase.

We withdraw a paid feature during a period you have already paid for, and offer no comparable replacement. In that case we refund a fair proportion of the unexpired part of the period.

We terminate your account for a reason other than a breach of our Terms. Here too we refund the unexpired proportion.

A payment that failed or was abandoned is never charged at all. If money left your account on a payment that did not complete, your bank or Razorpay reverses it automatically — usually within 5–7 working days, without you having to do anything.

Write to info@acegenie.ai from your registered email address with:

The Razorpay payment or order reference (it is on your invoice, and on the confirmation email).

The date and amount.

What went wrong.

Please raise it within 7 days of the charge so we can trace it against the gateway record while it is still fresh.

We acknowledge every refund request within 48 hours and decide it within 7 working days.

An approved refund is processed through Razorpay to the original payment method — we cannot send it anywhere else, and we never ask for your card, UPI PIN or bank details to process one. Anyone claiming to be us and asking for those details is not us.

Once processed, the money typically reaches your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in Indian Rupees for the amount actually charged; any bank or currency-conversion charge levied by your own bank is outside our control.

If you think you were charged wrongly, please write to us first. A genuine billing mistake is resolved far faster by email than by a chargeback, which takes weeks and locks both sides out of the process.

Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to the account being suspended until the dispute is resolved.
